Established in 2015, TLV Partners focuses on early-stage investments. Managing around $115 million in assets, the firm’s portfolio includes Facebook ads analytics startup Oribi Inc., and construction site app developer Buildup Technologies Inc.

During his time at Magma, Mr. Tzafrir led investments in open source data store ScyllaDB Inc. and cloud-based networking company Teridion Technologies Ltd. In 1997 Mr. Tzafrir founded Federation Inc., sold to Netherland-based cloud platform Cordys in 2002.

"The addition of a partner to a fund is a milestone," TLV Partners said in a statement. "Beyond Shahar's experience as an entrepreneur and investor, it was important to us to choose someone who shares our principles and vision."
