Israel-based deep learning computer vision startup Brodmann17 Ltd. announced Wednesday that it raised $11 million in a series A funding round led by Jerusalem-based equity crowdfunding company OurCrowd Ltd. Tel Aviv-based venture capital fund Maniv Mobility, Samsung’s venture capital arm Samsung NEXT, and Sony Innovation Fund also participated in the round.

 

Founded in 2016 by entrepreneurs Adi Pinhas, Amir Alush, and Assaf Mushinsky, Brodmann17 develops software for computer vision applications for automated vehicles. The company previously raised a $2.5 million seed round in 2017, according to Pitchbook data.
