Local Distributor to Open Flagship Store for Xiaomi Products in Tel Aviv

New store to offer smartphones and other consumer electronics, including smart watches and electric scooters

A first flagship store for products by Chinese mobile phone and electronics company Xiaomi Technology Co Ltd. is set to open in Tel Aviv next week, Xiaomi’s official Israeli distributor Hemilton Electronics Ltd. announced Monday. The store, dubbed Mi Store, will offer more than 100 mobile phones and other consumer electronics, including smartwatches, electric scooters, and cameras, Hemilton said in a statement. The store was initially set to open in June. Xiaomi recently unveiled its newest flagship smartphone model Mi 8, which features 3D capturing and facial recognition technology by Israeli startup Mantis Vision Ltd.
