BIRD Foundation Seeks Joint Israel-U.S. Energy-Focused R&D Projects

Each project selected will receive a grant of up to 50% of its R&D costs, at a maximum sum of $1 million

BIRD Energy, a department of the Israel-U.S. Binational Industrial R&D Foundation (the Bird Foundation) is seeking proposals for research and development projects in the fields of renewable energy, efficiency, and natural gas technologies that include cooperation between entities from both countries, BIRD announced Monday.

Each project selected will receive a grant of up to 50% of its R&D costs, at a maximum sum of $1 million. Projects that include collaborations between two companies or a company and an academic institution, will be considered for the grant.

 

Since its foundation in 1977, BIRD has supported over 950 joint projects, according to its website.
