Nasdaq-listed Advanced Energy Industries Inc. has opened a research and development center in the Israeli coastal town of Caesarea, the company announced earlier this month. In addition to an innovation lab, the 603-square-meter facility hosts sales support offices and a service and repair center. The company did not state how many employees will be working from the new facility.

Founded in 1981, Colorado-headquartered Advanced Energy provides power conversion measurement and control technologies such as high voltage power supplies and plasma power generators to industrial clients. The company has approximately 2,250 employees, according to Pitchbook data.
