LogMeIn CEO Arrives in Israel to Mark Israel Expansion

The company currently employs 60 people in its central Israel office, and intends to recruit dozens of additional employees by the end of the year

William R. Wagner, the CEO of Nasdaq-listed software company LogMeIn Inc., has arrived in Israel Thursday as the company marked the expansion of its artificial intelligence development center in Herzliya, a town in central Israel. The company currently employs 60 people in Israel and intends to recruit dozens more by the end of the year, a company spokesperson said in a phone call with Calcalist Thursday.

 

Boston-based LogMeIn employs 4000 people globally. The company lists Samsung, HP, and Microsoft as customers.

 

In 2017, Calcalist reported that LogMeIn acquired Israeli chatbot startup Nanorep for approximately $45 million.
