SBI Holdings Invests $20 Million in API Startup OpenLegacy

OpenLegacy develops an application programming interface integration service that helps companies extend their legacy systems to the web and offer additional services

Tokyo-based SBI Holdings Inc. has invested $20 million in Reston, Virginia-headquartered application programming interface (API) startup OpenLegacy Inc. Ron Rabinowitz, the latter’s president, confirmed in a Sunday interview with Calcalist. The new funding round brings the company’s total equity raised to date to $70 million.

 

Founded in 2014 by Israeli entrepreneurs Romi Stein and Roi Mor, OpenLegacy develops an API integration service that helps companies extend their legacy systems to the web and offer additional services. The company currently employs a team of 100 employees in Israel, Geneva, Mexico City, and Hong Kong.
