Germany’s Ministry of Economic Affairs is interested in investing in Israeli startups, according to Thomas Jarzombek, commissioner for startups at the ministry. Jarzombek spoke to CTech Thursday at Calcalist's WeTech Berlin 2020 conference, held in collaboration with Israel's Bank Leumi and German real estate company Aroundtown Property Holdings PLC.

 

The ministry is particularly interested in startups in the fields of artificial intelligence, mobility, and blockchain, Jarzombek said.

 

Jarzombek has been a member of the German Bundestag since 2009. He also serves as the federal government coordinator of German aerospace policy.
