NuTek awarded $100,000 prize from Merage Institute’s ‘45+ Entrepreneurs’ Competition’

The annual competition helps Israeli entrepreneurs aged 45 and over, as well as female entrepreneurs of all ages

NuTek Ltd., a developer of rainbow probes that can detect remaining cancer cells, earned first place as the winner of the Merage 45+ Entrepreneurs’ Competition. The competition, which is open to Israeli entrepreneurs over 45 and all women, helps startups with funding, exposure, and recognition for their companies.

 

As the winner of the competition, NuTek received the $100,000 prize as well as acceptance into the Merage Institute Innovation Bridge Program taking place in California. The company’s Founder and Chairman, Dov Cohen, has a B.Sc in electronics and computers, M.Sc in physical electronics, and an MBA in strategy and international management.

Its 45+ competition has been running since 2014 and has run its flagship activity, the Innovation Bridge Business Leadership Program, since 2005.
