“We came here to join the JVP Cyber Labs in Beer Sheva - we started in a one-and-a-half year program with the Labs and the company effectively formed here and grew from here,” explained Gilad Eisenberger, CTO at Valid Network, which develops blockchain cybersecurity solutions. For the entire company’s lifespan, it has remained in Beer Sheva for its R&D even though it technically moved its headquarters to New York to help with sales and marketing.

“We're still doing all our development here in Beer Sheva,” he continued. Valid Network provides a security solution for blockchain companies, helping investors and financial institutions manage their risk in crypto and DeFi (decentralized finance) spaces. “It allows us to focus on our strong points which are security, cybersecurity, and using talent from the local ecosystem. There’s a lot of good talent here that’s focused on cybersecurity, people that are looking for jobs in the cybersecurity space. That provides us with a good inflow of candidates coming in.”
