Automaker FCA Unveils Panda Waze, Highlighting Navigation System Integration
The Panda Waze is the first car to be named after the navigation app, which was bought by Google in 2013
Automaker Fiat Chrysler Automobiles N.V. on Tuesday unveiled a new car, Fiat Panda Waze, featuring a built-in Waze navigation system. The Panda Waze is the first car to be named after the navigation app, which was bought by Google in 2013 in a deal worth $1.3 billion and has more than 100 million users worldwide. The Waze app is integrated with the Panda Uconnect informatics system allowing them to be used simultaneously, FCA said in a statement. “Waze is much more than just a navigator: it avoids traffic, it guides you to the service station and it even reminds you where you parked,” FCA said.
