Yotpo’s service allows brands and online retailers to manage and respond to different types of user-generated online content related to their products and services, including product reviews. Founded in 2011 in Tel Aviv and now headquartered in New York with additional offices in Utah and London, Yotpo employs around 300 people. The company has raised a total of $101 million in equity funding.

Following the acquisition, Yotpo said in a statement, brands will be able to manage reviews, visual marketing, consumer insights, rewards, and referrals from a single, tailored platform. “By acquiring Swell Rewards, Yotpo will be able to offer a one-stop destination for activating customer advocacy and brand loyalty,” Tomer Tagrin, Yotpo co-founder and CEO, said in a statement.
