AI Is the Most Interesting Field in Israeli Tech, Says Pitango Managing Partner

In April, Pitango will hold the semi-final stage of its startup competition as part of Calcalist’s third annual Mind the Tech Conference in New York

The most interesting field in the Israeli tech industry is artificial intelligence, Eyal Niv, a managing partner at Israel-based investment firm Pitango Venture Capital said in a video interview published Wednesday on Calcalist.

In April, Pitango will hold the semi-final stage of its startup competition as part of Calcalist’s third annual Mind the Tech Conference in New York.

 

Pitango will select fifteen early-stage tech startups to pitch their technologies at the conference and will set up a round of meetings with strategic players and industry leaders. The winning startup will receive a $1 million investment prize.

"We are focused on technologies combining data, people, and machines,” Pitango managing partner Ayal Itzkovich said. Pitango is looking to work together with companies and entrepreneurs from a very early stage, he added.
