Wix Unveils Plans for New 50,000-Square-Meter Tel Aviv Headquarters
The website building company plans to invest $80 million into the new space, located on the beach in Herzliya Pituach, on the border with Tel Aviv
Nasdaq-listed website building company Wix.com Ltd. announced its plans to build a new 50,000-square-meter-headquarters and campus in Tel Aviv on Wednesday. The new headquarters is part of a larger commercial development being built on the beach in Herzliya Pituach, just outside of Tel Aviv, at a cost of NIS 1.5 billion (approximately $418 million), a company spokesperson for Canada Israel Ltd., the real estate company developing the project, told Calcalist Wednesday.
The new development will replace Wix's current headquarters in the old Tel Aviv port area as soon as 2022, Wix said. Wix expects to invest $80 million in the new space over a two-and-a-half-year period, according to the company’s statement.
The campus is under construction, the Canada Israel spokesperson said.
