Founded in 2014 and based in Herzliya, a town in the Tel Aviv area, SafeDK develops tools for analyzing, monitoring, and optimizing third-party SDKs within apps.
Following the acquisition, AppLovin will set up a development center in Israel, Shoavi said. SafeDK’s existing team of 25 people will work with AppLovin’s team to develop a brand protection tool for mobile apps, according to a statement. The company intends to hire more people in Israel, Shoavi said.

SafeDK will continue to support its existing customers, the company said in a statement. Shoavi and her fellow co-founder Ronnie Sternberg will stay on as heads of SafeDK and will become co-general managers of AppLovin Israel, according to a statement.
