RAD Data Communications Lays Off Dozens of Employees
Founded by Israeli entrepreneurs and brothers Yehuda and Zohar Zisapel, RAD designs and manufactures specialized networking equipment for the global telecom industry
Telecom product vendor RAD Data Communications Ltd. is laying off dozens of employees, according to one person familiar with the matter who spoke to Calcalist Monday on condition of anonymity. The company currently employs approximately 1,000 people.

Founded in 1981 by brothers Yehuda and Zohar Zisapel, Tel Aviv-headquartered RAD designs and manufactures specialized networking equipment for the global telecom industry. The company lists telecommunication company Vodafone Group PLC, Nasdaq-listed T-Mobile USA Inc., and Singapore Telecommunications (SingTel) Ltd. as customers.
