Wipro Scouts for Israeli Technologies

A delegation of Wipro executives, led by Pratik Kumar, the CEO of Wipro Infrastructure Engineering, arrived in Israel last month to meet with local entrepreneurs

New York-listed, Bangalore, India-based IT company Wipro Ltd. is interested in investing in Israeli companies and technologies. A delegation of Wipro executives, led by Pratik Kumar, the CEO of Wipro Infrastructure Engineering, arrived in Israel last month to meet with local entrepreneurs, according to Ronen Givon, the CEO of Wipro subsidiary Givon.

 

Over the last two years, Wipro had invested in Israeli cybersecurity startup IntSights Cyber Intelligence Ltd.  and information security firm Demisto Inc., which was acquired earlier this year by Palo Alto Networks Inc. for $560 million.
