Sports media company Minute Media raised $40 million. Minute Media is the publisher behind several sports news outlets and is backed by Dawn Capital, Goldman Sachs, and Battery Ventures. Read more

 

Cyber insurance startup At-Bay raised $34 million. At-Bay analyzes the digital systems of its clients to determine their level of exposure to cyberattacks. Read more

 

Cancer treatment company KAHR Medical raised $18 Million. The company intends to use the funding to advance its immuno-oncology drug candidates, especially its lead product, DSP107, tested for the treatment of solid tumors. Read more

 

Personal assistant robot developer Temi raised $15 million. Temi develops a personal voice-activated robotic personal assistant on wheels, capable of following its owners from room to room while carrying small objects, playing music, making video and voice calls, and controlling smart-home devices. Schneider Electric backed venture capital firm Grove. Schneider Electric invested $10 million in commitments in venture capital firm Grove Ventures Capital’s second fund, announced last week. Read more

 

Website building startup Elementor raised $15 million. Elementor develops freemium software that lets users build WordPress web pages using a drag and drop interface. Read more

 

Anti-cyberbullying startup L1ght raised $15 million. L1ght develops technology to combat the online bullying of kids, which analyzes texts, videos, and soundbites to recognize hate speech, cyberbullying, and online threats. Read more

 

Synopsys acquired semiconductor startup Terrain EDA. Terrain EDA develops chip designs for the semiconductor industry. Read more
