Israel-based femtech company OCON has appointed biotech industry veteran Shani Gross-Eliyahu as chief technology officer

Israel-based biotech company OCON Healthcare (incorporated as Ocon Medical Ltd.) announced Tuesday the appointment of Shani Gross-Eliyahu as its chief technology officer.

 

Before joining OCON, Gross-Eliyahu served in executive positions in the biotech industry for over a decade, most recently, as the chief technology officer for Israel-based Core Scientific Creations Ltd.

Founded in 2011 and based in Israeli central town Modiin, OCON develops a spherical intrauterine device for the treatment of various medical conditions in women.

 

The company also announced the appointment of Dana Raveh-Arbel as vice president of clinical affairs and Avital Gilad as its Israel country manager. Raveh-Arbel was formerly the clinical and regulation manager at cancer detection startup Biop Medical Ltd. and medical device company Rainbow Medical Ltd. Most recently, Gilad served as the marketing manager at the oncology and cardiology unit of the Israel office of pharmaceutical company Eli Lilly.
