Elementor, a website builder within WordPress, has announced that it has appointed Yam Regev as its new VP of Marketing. Before joining Elementor, Regev was the co-founder and CMO of Zest which was acquired by WalkMe last month.

"I chose to join Elementor from several options that I had because of the huge potential in the open-source field,” explained Regev. “The concept of the company integrates with my values of diversity, mutual help, and balance between professionalism and other areas."

Elementor was founded in 2015 by Yoni Luxenberg and Ariel Klickstein. It is a free frontend page-builder plug-in for WordPress that can be used for home pages, services, and portfolios. With Elementor, users can design their entire website without code. Today, the company has 270 employees and serves millions of customers in 57 languages. In February 2020, it raised $15 million in a round led by Lightspeed Venture Partners.
