Global coalition launches platform to help Startup Nation in wartime

‘Circles of Dialogue’ is an online platform and community network dedicated to supporting the Israeli tech ecosystem impacted by the Israel-Hamas war.

A coalition of tech companies, entrepreneurs, angel and institutional investors has unveiled Circles of Dialogue, an online platform and community network established amid the Israel-Hamas war to help support the Israeli tech ecosystem. So far, marquee companies and investors over four continents have joined with the mission to provide access to more than $100 million in immediate investment capital and free services.
“This is a critical moment for the Startup Nation, but Israeli innovation and technology continue to be ripe for lucrative investments,” said investor Ron Suber, a former President of Prosper Marketplace. “I wholeheartedly believe in the mission of Circles of Dialogue to ensure the progress made in the last decade does not falter because of the strife. We want to double down, reinforce our existing investments, and instill confidence in the market for the next generation of Israeli tech companies.”

Circles of Dialogue offers free access to resources, capital formation networks, and expert advisors for Israeli tech companies with the task of helping them adjust to the crisis and prepare to survive and thrive in the long term. Its objectives are to assist the Israeli tech sector with the effort to raise funds from venture capital and angel and institutional investors, help drive customer acquisition and retention, and connect companies with relevant and necessary services. It aims to do this through its online community, networking events and regional committees, and investment services.
Since launching, more than 200 companies have already joined the coalition. Its network includes a variety of tech companies and investors, such as Alexia Ventures, Alston & Bird, Au10tix, Avid Ventures, BairesDev, Blumberg Capital, Core Finance, Cross River Bank, Financial Technology Partners, Ignia, Kiara Capital, Lion Investment Partners, NYCA, Propel Ventures, Rapyd, Runa.io, SaaS Ventures, Shoni Health Ventures, S2G Ventures, Tal Ventures, Target Global, TechnoArt, ThriveDX, Tipalti and Willowtree Investments.
“This is an opportunity for the global community to join successful investors in supporting the Israeli tech sector, which has and will continue to drive transformative innovation,” said Circles of Dialogue co-founder Eric Rosenthal. “We believe that by mobilizing new and existing interest in Israel’s robust tech ecosystem, we can help minimize the impact of the current situation and help ensure continual growth into the future.”
It is well known that Israeli tech plays a critical role in the country's economy, which is also currently under threat due to the ongoing war. According to Start-Up Nation Central, the tech sector accounts for roughly 18% of Israel’s gross domestic product, nearly half of the country’s exports, and 30% of tax revenue.
Circles of Dialogue is a global coalition of tech companies, entrepreneurs, angel and institutional investors, and experts helping empower and support the Israeli tech ecosystem. It is apolitical and will rely on the power of networks to drive business growth and ‘nurture essential human connections’.
