Houzz acquires Tel Aviv-based IvyMark. IvyMark, develops an online service that helps interior designers manage vendor purchases. Houzz co-founder and CEO Alon Cohen said the acquisition is part of company’s vision to “bring the industry into the 21st century.” Read more

Stratasys, Dassault Systèmes, Easton LaChappelle team up on prosthetic arms initiative. Called Unlimited Tomorrow, the initiative aims to provide amputees with affordable, custom-made, battery-powered prosthetic limbs, created using 3D scanners and 3D printers. Read more

Starboard criticized the management of the chip company for frequent large sized insider stock sales in a Monday letter addressed to Mellanox Chairman Irwin Federman. TLV Partners closes $150 million venture fund. Established in 2015, TLV Partners focuses on early stage investments. Its first fund, closed at $115 million, invested in nine seed and Series A stage companies. The firm's portfolio companies include construction site app developer Buildup Technologies and Facebook ads analytics startup Oribi. Read more

 

Home network cybersecurity startup SAM raises $3.5 million. SAM develops software that can be installed on home routers, detecting and blocking malware before it reaches connected devices. It partnered with Intel's connected home division to integrate its technology with Intel’s chipsets. Read more
