Payment Startup Zooz Launches New Payment Platform
Zooz develops and operates a payment consolidation and analytics platform for e-commerce sites
E-commerce payment startup Zooz Inc. has announced the official launch of a new cloud-based payments platform, PaymentsOS, on Thursday. The platform went live a few months ago and had already processed millions of transactions from leading global merchants and payment service providers, the company said.
Zooz develops and operates a payment platform consolidating a variety of online payment methods and providing payment analytics for e-commerce sites.
Founded in 2010, Zooz is headquartered in central Israel and has additional offices in Berlin and San Francisco. The company raised $39.5 million in funding from investors including Target Global Ventures, Fang Fund Partners, iAngels, Kreos Capital, Blumberg Capital, and lool Ventures.
“Most of the existing payments infrastructures were built decades ago and lack flexibility and scalability,” Oren Levy, founder and CEO of Zooz, said in a statement, adding that the new platform will offer users “full control of their payments operation with better analytics, insights, and routing capabilities.”
