Video Company Kaltura Expands Operations With $5 Million Investment
The company intends to recruit dozens of new employees to open offices in Paris, Munich, and Jerusalem
New York-headquartered video creation and distribution company Kaltura Inc. is investing $5 million to set up three new offices in Paris, Munich, and Jerusalem and recruit dozens of new employees. The company already has offices in New York, the greater Tel Aviv area, London, San Francisco, and Singapore.
Founded in 2006, Kaltura employs around 500 people globally. The company raised over $160 million to date from investors including Goldman Sachs, Intel Capital, Nokia, SAP, and Menlo Park, California-based Mitsui & Co. Global Investment.
The expansion is the result of several recent large-scale deals that necessitated additional talent, co-founder and CEO Ron Yekutiel said in a statement.
