In a panel at the Mind the Tech London 2023 conference titled "Is Society Ready for The Future Cyber Crisis?" Moderator Dr. Nimrod Kozlovski, Partner & Co-Founder at Cytactic, spoke with Nadav Zafrir, Managing Partner at Team8, Mickey Boodaei, CEO at Transmit Security, and Eyal Efrat, Board Member at The Garage, about where cyber is today and where it's headed.
The panel tackled many issues in cybersecurity, the role of AI, and the digital element.
"Everything will become digital," Efrat said. "Even in banks what we are looking for is secure cloud infrastructures and identities and generative AI and we are looking for advanced solutions to protect against phishing attacks. Phishing is really the new locomotive of cyber attacks and is becoming more and more sophisticated with the use of artificial intelligence tools - both for cyber attack purposes and for financial fraud purposes - which is why The Garage recently invested in two promising companies in these fields."
