“We are allowing companies to see all the talent in their full potential on day zero”

Yardenne Assa, Co-Founder and CEO & Stephie Knopel, Co-Founder and CMO at Unboxable, joined CTech at WorkTech 2022 to discuss how the hiring process has changed

At Calcalist’s WorkTech 2022, a big topic of conversation was the hiring process and how companies can find the best talent to fill their vacant positions. Joining CTech for a CTalk was Yardenne Assa, Co-Founder and CEO, and Stephie Knopel, Co-Founder and CMO at Unboxable, a company that uses predictive hiring technology to help hiring managers with their decisions.
“We can predict today if we are going to work well together without even meeting before,” explained Knopel. “We do it through job simulators, it is an experience instead of sending your CV, you just go through a job simulator, and in the back end, we gather enough data to see if this is the right fit for the company or if it is the right fit for the talent.”
According to the company, the algorithms help determine if they will be the right fit for the company at a cultural level, and goes beyond someone’s raw skill or education level.
“We are allowing companies to see all the talent in their full potential on day zero,” added Assa. “We are harnessing technology in order to allow companies to tap into their entire pool of talent… If today's industry is using two success predictors in order to decide if someone is eligible talent or not, work experience or education, we’re taking all the different data points and elements that companies are now trying to assess throughout the entire hiring process, and we are reversing the funnel and bringing all these data points to the very first stage of the funnel.”
