Puls Technologies, Inc., a smartphone and tablet repair startup, is expanding its partnership with Google, the company announced Monday.

Already Google’s exclusive official in-home repairs partner for Pixel and Pixel XL smartphones, Puls will now extend the partnership to the upcoming Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL phones, and also expand its same-day services to all major cities in the U.S. As part of the partnership, Puls uses Google-backed original parts for its repairs and is accessible via Google’s official support website.

Headquartered in San Francisco with offices in San Diego and Tel Aviv, Puls operates a network of technicians offering same-day, in-home installation and repair services for smartphones. Puls has raised $43 million in financing since it was founded in 2015, and is backed by Sequoia Capital Operations, LLC., Temasek Holdings Pte Ltd.’s Red Dot Capital, Samsung’s venture investment arm Samsung NEXT, Carmel Ventures and Maverick Ventures.

“In the past six months we ran a successful pilot with Google to service the company's devices. We offer a Google-approved service that preserves the original warranty,” Puls CEO and Co-founder Eyal Ronen told Calcalist. “The pilot tested whether we can get to each customer within an hour and if the service we provide at home matches the service offered at a lab. Since we meet the requirement, every customer would now be referred to Puls.”

Previously named CellSavers Inc., Puls completed a rebranding campaign earlier this year. In August, the company completed a $25 million funding round led by Red Dot Capital Partners with participation from Samsung NEXT.
