ISRAEL AT WAR
Columbia Assistant Professor: “Everyone gets a "safe space" at Columbia University. Everyone, that is, except Jews”

“History will judge those who stood silent. History will judge the limp response of the president of Columbia University and all of its board of trustees,” Shai Davidai wrote after pro-Hamas students and faculty at Columbia University were chanting and cheering in support of the Hamas massacre

Shai Davidai, Assistant Professor of Management at Columbia Business School, has called out his university for allowing “a rally in support of an intentional, coordinated massacre.”
“Today, I stood in silent mourning with hundreds of Jews, Israelis, and supportive friends facing a pro-Hamas rally at Columbia University. My employer. My home from home. Everyone gets a "safe space" at Columbia University. Everyone, that is, except Jews,” wrote Davidai.
“To be clear: The pro-Hamas students and faculty at Columbia University were chanting and cheering for the successful 'resistance' of Saturday morning.
“Mutilated baby bodies. Kidnapped grandmothers. Pets, shot at point blank. This is what they whitewash as ‘the resistance’.
“A rally in support of an intentional, coordinated massacre. This is what they were cheering for.
“This is what Columbia University president - Minouche Shafik - supported in her silence as 'free speech'.
“The president and board of trustees of Columbia University, giving their silent approval of a premeditated slaughter of babies, toddlers, children, grandparents, great grandparents.”
Davidai called out Shafik for “an utter failure of leadership”. “History will judge those who stood silent. History will judge the limp response of the president of Columbia University and all of its board of trustees,” Davidai added. “And a message to the parents out there, visiting campuses with your Junior and Seniors right now. Let me be clear as an Israeli, as a Jew: Columbia University will not protect your children from anti-semitism.
“We have a great institution with some of the greatest minds of this country and amazing facilities. But when it comes to your children's safety - Columbia University cannot (and, given the president's actions, will not) protect your children.
“I've run out of words. I have cried so much my eyes are dry.”
