Elbit to showcase Hermes 900, PULS and autonomous systems at Marrakech Air Show

The company’s first appearance at the event comes as Morocco has emerged as an increasingly important market for Israeli defense technology.

Elbit Systems is making its first appearance at the Marrakech Air Show this week, bringing a broad portfolio of drones, autonomous systems, precision weapons, electronic warfare and intelligence technologies to a defense exhibition that is becoming an important showcase for Israel’s defense industry in Morocco.
The Israeli defense company will participate in the event from October 7 to 10 at the Royal Moroccan Air Force base, where it plans to display the Hermes 900 unmanned aircraft system alongside a range of autonomous platforms, precision weapons and airborne protection technologies.

Among the systems on display will be the Hermes 900, one of Elbit’s best-known unmanned aircraft, as well as autonomous systems from FUSE, including the THOR, Magni-X and FireFox-X families.
The company will also showcase the SkyStriker loitering munition, the PULS rocket artillery system and the LIZARD laser-guided precision munition.
The display extends beyond offensive capabilities. Elbit will present its airborne self-protection systems, including the MINI MUSIC directed infrared countermeasure system, as well as intelligence and electro-optical technologies. The latter will include the SPECTRO-12, the newest addition to the company’s SPECTRO family of multispectral ISR and targeting payloads.
Elbit will also highlight airborne communications and digitalization technologies, together with pilot training, simulation and flight-school systems.
Elbit’s appearance comes as Israeli defense companies expand their presence at the Marrakech exhibition. IAI, Rafael, Xtend and UVision are also participating in the 2026 event.
The Israeli presence reflects the broader development of defense ties between Israel and Morocco since the two countries normalized relations as part of the Abraham Accords. Morocco and Israel signed a defense cooperation memorandum in 2021, followed by a series of reported defense deals and partnerships.
IAI has been involved in major Moroccan defense programs, including the Barak 8 and Barak MX air defense systems. CTech has also previously reported on Morocco's acquisition of Israeli defense technologies including Elbit's Hermes 450 and Hermes 900 drones, as well as artillery and other systems.
