Digital farming company Fieldin appoints Iftach Birger as CEO
Fieldin generates eight-figure annual revenue and employs more than 80 people worldwide.
Fieldin, which develops a platform for farm operations management, announced the appointment of Iftach Birger as CEO. Birger is replacing Ofer Elyakim, who served as the CEO of Fieldin in the last two years
Birger, who co-founded Fieldin in 2013, has been serving as the company's COO. In this position, he headed product development and growth. According to the company, it generates eight-figure annual revenue and employs more than 80 people worldwide.
Birger led new collaborations with global players such as ARAG and PAS, which helped create a broader ecosystem around Fieldin's offering. Birger also grew Fieldin's customer base, to work with large-scale growers such as Olam, Select Harvests, Taylor Farms and many more.
Fieldin covers over 700,000 acres across the U.S., with more than 10,000 connected machines operating across over 35,000 sites. Among Fieldin’s investors are Fortissimo Capital, Zeev Ventures (founded by Oren Zeev), ICON Accelerator, Akkadian Ventures, Maor Investments from Luxembourg, and other investors.
“As someone who grew up on a farm and understands firsthand the complexity of modern agriculture, I’m proud to take on the role of CEO at Fieldin,” said Iftach Birger. “Fieldin’s mission has always been to help growers run more efficient, informed, and precise operations. Looking ahead, I’m excited to deepen our impact - by expanding into new markets, forming strategic technology partnerships, enhancing our AI capabilities, and continuing to serve the world’s leading growers with tools grounded in real, on-the-ground needs."
The platform helps growers reduce operational costs by minimizing downtime, optimizing workflows, and improving labor performance. It offers full traceability of all field activities, supporting compliance and accountability across teams. By enabling early detection of equipment or application issues, Fieldin also reduces waste and supports more sustainable farming practices.
