DoiT acquires Israeli startup Attribute for estimated $65 million
Attribute’s technology gives organizations a real-time view of spending on AI tokens, models and cloud resources, down to individual teams, products, agents and customers.
DoiT, a company that develops solutions to help organizations reduce cloud operating costs, has acquired Israeli startup Attribute, which developed technology for measuring and managing AI and cloud spending. The companies did not disclose the value of the deal, but it is estimated at approximately $65 million.
Attribute was founded in 2023 by Unit 81 alumni Izhak Zimmermann, who serves as CEO, and Liad Tropp, who serves as CTO. The company's technology gives organizations a real-time view of how much they are spending on artificial intelligence and cloud services.
The platform analyzes the use of AI tokens, models and shared cloud resources, allowing spending to be attributed at the level of teams, products, features, AI agents and individual customers.
Attribute raised approximately $13.5 million in seed funding from Israeli investors including Mensch Capital, SCapital, HarelTech and IBI.
DoiT is an Israeli-American unicorn founded in Israel in 2011 by Vadim Solovey, who serves as CEO, and Yoav Toussia-Cohen. The company is headquartered in Santa Clara, California, and serves more than 4,500 customers across 27 countries, including Spotify, Booking.com, Akamai, FIFA, Perplexity, Raptive and Claroty.
The acquisition of Attribute is the latest in a series of acquisitions by DoiT over the past two years, representing a total investment of approximately $200 million. The company acquired PerfectScale and Live Diagrams in January 2025, Cloudwise in October 2025, SELECT in January 2026 and Attribute in August 2026.
"Attribute's solution fits excellently with DoiT's product portfolio, and we already have mutual customers," said Zimmermann, CEO and co-founder of Attribute. "Organizations currently cannot see or fully understand what their AI and cloud spending is, and Attribute provides them with a complete picture of an area of enterprise spending that is growing rapidly."
"DoiT's data shows that monthly spending on AI is expected to triple over the next 12 months. Additionally, in a recent survey of 500 executives at large organizations, only 15% said they were able to calculate the ROI on AI, and many said significant budget overruns often occur because they do not know how much they are spending on AI."
"Our partnership with Attribute is a natural step in DoiT's strategy to give organizations full and transparent control over their cloud and AI spending," said Solovey, CEO and founder of DoiT. "The impressive technology developed by the Attribute team perfectly complements our Cloud Intelligence platform and will bring tremendous value to our customers."
"We are proud to have a talented and groundbreaking team joining us and to continue deepening our investment in innovation and advanced FinOps solutions for the global community."
DoiT develops technology designed to help organizations operate their cloud and AI environments more efficiently. The company employs approximately 650 people worldwide, including a significant development and sales presence in Israel.
DoiT is also a strategic partner of AWS, Google Cloud and Microsoft Azure.
