Tech giants Oracle and Intel extend financial support to their employees in Israel

Following the state of war the citizens of Israel find themselves in, Oracle employees in Israel would be receiving a special grant equivalent to an extra month's salary and Intel will give each local employee a grant of $5,000

In a show of solidarity with their employees and the Israeli economy during the state of war in the region, technology giants Oracle and Intel have announced special grants to benefit their workforce in Israel.
Eran Feigenbaum, the GM of Oracle Israel, made a significant announcement this week. He informed hundreds of the company's employees in Israel that they would be receiving a special grant equivalent to an extra month's salary, set to be included in their upcoming paychecks. Feigenbaum conveyed that this special grant is part of a broader series of support measures aimed at bolstering Oracle's presence in Israel and contributing to the country's overall economic well-being.
Feigenbaum stated: "Since the recent terrorist attack, Oracle and its leadership have demonstrated unwavering support for Israel. Our commitment extends to all platforms and social media sites. This continued support was also evident through a successful donation campaign that Oracle initiated in collaboration with its global employees, raising nearly 12 million shekels ($2.9 million) for Magen David Adom. We are dedicated to further expanding our support for various charitable causes."
In a similar initiative, Intel, another tech industry leader, will provide financial support to its employees in Israel. Pat Gelsinger, CEO of Intel Global, sent a letter to the company's employees, expressing his deep appreciation for their dedication to Intel. He confirmed that each employee will receive a grant of $5,000, which will be added to their salaries in local currency, with the funds expected to reach employees by the end of November. In addition to the grant, Intel has allocated a budget of $3,000 per employee for their personal needs.
Oracle and Intel are not the only tech companies demonstrating support for their Israeli workforce. Several other multinational corporations, including Cisco and Nvidia, have also provided grants to their employees in Israel, affirming their commitment to the well-being and security of their staff in the region. These initiatives by tech giants underscore the importance of employee well-being and community support in times of adversity, and they reflect the close ties between these companies and the Israeli people.
Following the state of war declared in Israel after the murderous attack by the Hamas terrorists, over 350,000 Israelis were drafted into reserve service. The Israeli reserve officers had to leave their civilian jobs and their daily lives for almost a month and now they are participating in the defense of the country's borders - in the south, in the defense of the border with the Gaza Strip in the north against the threats of the terrorist organization Hezbollah.
The war conflict in the region broke out on October 7 when hundreds of murderous terrorists from the terrorist organization Hamas broke through the border from the Gaza Strip and carried out a heinous massacre of innocent Israeli civilians inside Israeli territory. In the brutal massacres, at least 1,400 Israelis were murdered - babies, children, women, and the elderly - adopting tactics reminiscent of ISIS.
Thousands more were injured and over 200 women, children, babies, old men, and soldiers were abducted by Hamas to the Gaza Strip, with the intent of using them as bargaining chips against Israel. In response, the IDF has been attacking the terrorist infrastructure of the jihadist Hamas organization in Gaza for three weeks in an attempt to collapse its hold on the Palestinian population in Gaza.
