Wolt suffers third global outage in a month during peak lunch hour

Delivery platform goes down again as customers encounter ordering failures.

The delivery service of Wolt has been down for more than an hour and a half, with the company experiencing its third global outage in the past month.
Once again, as in previous incidents, the disruption hit during peak lunch-order hours, when office workers typically place group orders and private customers order meals to their homes.

Customers attempting to place orders through the app encountered an unavailable service and a message from the company encouraging them to use self-pickup instead.
Wolt said in response: “We are currently experiencing a global technical issue affecting the receipt of new orders and are working to resolve the problem as quickly as possible. We apologize for the temporary inconvenience.”
