"We actually understand how critical access to public web data is for startups," stated Dana Mazia of Bright Data. Speaking to CTech’s Amy Shapiro at the Tech1 Gala and Awards night, Mazia explained that enterprise data access is often "too hard or too expensive" for new founders, inspiring the creation of their venture arm, Bright Ventures.
Reflecting on the evolution of the AI sector as it progresses toward specialized models and physical robotics, Mazia urged Israeli entrepreneurs to recognize early on that "they must be out there, specifically in the US market." She advised establishing a presence on the West Coast to stay close to the industry.
