In recent years, the site in Israel has led the development of the technologies that constitute the cutting edge of Dell, which include, among other things, the PowerStore, a data storage product developed specifically for the infrastructures of the future; and the PowerFlex, a software-based storage product with infinite flexibility for storing information in the cloud or on the client side.

Today, the R&D site in Israel employs about 800 people in three locations (Glil Yam, Haifa and Be'er Sheva).
"I am grateful for the opportunity given to me to manage Dell's accomplished R&D site in Israel, and to lead technological innovation with the help of its human capital," said Inbar. "I wish success and prosperity to Eyal Shpin and all the employees who have made my job in the last five years so enjoyable."
Eyal Shpin said: "It is a great honor to be appointed as Dell Technologies Israel’s R&D site lead. The site has demonstrated its ability to create the global innovation of tomorrow, while at the same time actively working to build a better future through volunteering in the community.”
