Dazz founder Merav Bahat leaves Wiz after Google deal, eyes new cyber-AI venture

Bahat joined Wiz in November 2024 after Dazz was acquired for an estimated $450 million.

Merav Bahat, founder of the cyber company Dazz, which was acquired by Wiz, is leaving the company shortly after the completion of the Google-Wiz merger. Bahat is believed to be planning to establish a new venture in the cyber and AI space.
Wiz acquired Dazz in November 2024 for an estimated $450 million. Dazz was founded in 2021 by Bahat (who served as CEO), Tomer Schwartz, and Yuval Ofir. The company developed an automation and AI-based platform for rapidly identifying, prioritizing, and remediating security vulnerabilities in enterprise cloud environments.

Its platform, which is integrated into Wiz Code, centralizes millions of alerts generated by various vulnerability detection tools within organizations, prioritizes the most critical issues requiring remediation, and enables engineers and developers to address them by analyzing the root cause and providing clear instructions for fixes, down to specific lines of code.
In addition to her role at Wiz, Bahat has also invested in several startups over recent years, including in A Security, a company developing an AI-based attack protection platform that announced a $37 million funding round on Monday.
