Unicorns Wonderful and Eon replace Meta at Tel Aviv's Sarona Tower
New wave of tech tenants completes Azrieli’s leasing of 31,000 sqm.
Azrieli Group has completed the leasing of office space in the Azrieli Sarona Tower, according to its fourth-quarter and full-year 2025 report.
During the fourth quarter of 2025, the company signed five new lease agreements totaling approximately 12,000 square meters, effectively filling all 31,000 square meters previously vacated by Meta.
Meta had been one of the tower’s largest tenants. In 2017, it leased around 24,000 square meters across 10 floors, and about three years later expanded its footprint to roughly 33,000 square meters. However, in April 2022, Meta signed a separate lease for 20 floors in the Landmark project. Today, it occupies 13 floors there, while the remaining seven floors are subleased.
Following its early exit from the Sarona Tower in April 2025, Meta paid Azrieli compensation of approximately NIS 14 million (approximately $4.5 million). A residual area of about 2,500 square meters remains under Meta’s control.
By September 2025, Azrieli had already leased roughly 18,000 square meters, about 60% of the vacated space, across eight transactions. The remaining 12,000 square meters have now been leased to a new group of tenants.
These include Israeli startup Wonderful, which leased a full floor of approximately 2,400 square meters; Eon, which leased about 2,768 square meters; ScaleOps, which took 2,380 square meters; Okta, which leased a floor following its acquisition of Spera; and Jeen.ai, which leased approximately 2,382 square meters.
Despite broader challenges in the central Israel office market, including parts of Tel Aviv, Azrieli’s success highlights continued strong demand along the Menachem Begin corridor, stretching from Savidor Center station to the Yitzhak Sadeh area. In this prime business district, rental demand remains resilient and prices have held steady.
According to Azrieli, rents in recent transactions ranged between NIS 180 and 185 per square meter, higher than the rates previously paid by Meta.
The Azrieli Sarona Tower, currently the tallest building in Israel, rises to 255 meters and includes 61 floors with approximately 120,000 square meters of office space above a commercial level. The tower hosts major tenants including Amazon, Citibank, Unity, SentinelOne, and Safra Bank, and employs an estimated 8,000 people.
