Reeco appoints Naama Engel as VP of HR and Guy Ben-Bassat as VP of Finance
The startup's platform aims to give hotels greater visibility and control over procurement, including order placement, inventory tracking, culinary operations, and AP automation.
Reeco, a startup offering an AI-powered procurement management platform for hotels, has announced two new executive hires. Naama Engel has been appointed Vice President of Human Resources, and Guy Ben-Bassat has joined as Vice President of Finance.
Engel brings experience in HR leadership within the tech sector. She most recently served as Chief Human Resources Officer at Travelier Group, where she oversaw HR during a time of company expansion and team integrations. Her prior roles include HR leadership at WeissBeerger and HR Business Partner at Amdocs. She holds a BA in Psychology and an MA in Organizational Behavior from Tel Aviv University.
Ben-Bassat has held finance leadership roles across several global startups. He was previously VP Finance at Growthspace, and held roles at Yotpo and publicly traded Nova. He began his career at Deloitte Israel, advising U.S.-based companies. He holds a BA in Business Administration and Accounting.

The platform is used by CFOs, general managers, chefs, and other hospitality professionals to support day-to-day operations with real-time analytics. Founded in 2022 by Henrik Shimony and Omri Shalev, Reeco is backed by $25 million from investors including Aleph, Net Capital, and Joule Ventures. The company operates across the U.S., Israel, Europe, and Central America, with a team of over 50 employees.
