Neil Shah, Head of Tech Listings at the London Stock Exchange, was back in Israel for the first time in three years. He spoke with CTech's Amy Shapiro at Calcalist's annual Tech1 conference at Expo Tel Aviv.
Shah argued that Israeli companies can go public in London much earlier than most assume, and he pushed back on what he called the "big myth" that the US always offers higher valuations and more liquidity. He presented an IPO as a stepping stone to raising capital, funding acquisitions and entering new markets, and as an alternative to selling out early while waiting to be big enough for US markets.
