“From the economic perspective, we see deep support from our colleagues all over America, from each and every state over there. Yes, even in New York - we can see the climate over there - but Trump is a businessman and the whole administration is like this. They are talking about ROI. That's it,” said Galit Meyran, CEO of the Israel-America Chamber of Commerce.
Meyran spoke with CTech’s Allon Sinai during the Calcalist and Bank Leumi Mind the Tech New York 2026 conference. She elaborated on the variety of interests that US states are taking in Israeli technology’s potential.
“We in the chamber are really focused on security AI, but I’ve met with governors from Oklahoma, from Delaware, from Iowa who would like to have [Israeli] Agritech. We met with Kentucky, who would like Israeli foodtech - [US interest] is really all over the place,” she said.
“American investors and also the administration definitely see our resilience not just as a survival tactic, but a truly competitive advantage.”
