ROOMS by Fattal CEO on making reserve duty founders a core company value
After taking home the Social Impact of the Year award, ROOMS by Fattal CEO Ziv Pordes reveals a pending merger and international expansion plans.

"This is the part of the community that we would like to keep promoting and do our best to help them grow and succeed and start their businesses," shared Ziv Pordes, CEO of ROOMS by Fattal, after accepting the Social Impact of the Year award at the Tech1 Gala and Awards Night.
Speaking to CTech’s Amy Shapiro, Pordes explained that the co-working space earned the recognition for supporting entrepreneurs returning from Miluim (reserve duty). Pordes, who himself has served over a hundred days in Miluim since the outbreak of the Israel-Hamas war following October 7, added that supporting these founders remains "one of our core values."
Beyond the company's community initiatives, Pordes revealed significant milestones on the horizon for the hospitality-driven workspace. Currently operating 15 locations across Israel, he announced that the Fattal subsidiary is "just about to expand abroad in 2027" and is actively "on the verge of merging with another company and getting a very big investment.”
