When asked how long he believes the economic downturn will last, Ran Dagan, Head of Technology Investments at Discount Capital said: “I think it’s going to be here for a while, but it’s going to change in a few months time, it’s going to become the common ground. In three to six months it will become the new normal.”
Speaking to CTech at Calcalist and Discount Bank’s Unicorns Forum, Ran added: “I think what happened last time (during the crisis) was not very healthy for the industry and now we are starting to see the first steps toward normalization. There are still good deals out there and good companies, I think the problem was with valuation, not with the actual value of companies.”
