Manifold appoints Yehoshua Cohen as CPO

Prior to Manifold, Cohen spent nearly seven years at AI21 Labs, where he advanced from Data Scientist to senior data leadership before taking on broader product and business responsibilities.

Israeli AI research lab Manifold has appointed Yehoshua ״Shuki” Cohen as Chief Product Officer. In this role, Cohen will oversee product strategy, focusing on building products driven by the lab's research.
Prior to Manifold, Cohen spent nearly seven years at AI21 Labs, where he advanced from Data Scientist to senior data leadership before taking on broader product and business responsibilities. Most recently, as VP Applied AI, he led the translation of advanced AI research into commercial implementations. He also ran AI21’s Wordtune business unit, overseeing product, data, design, user operations, and marketing across a multidisciplinary team of more than 35 employees. Before joining AI21 Labs, he worked as a Data Scientist at Similarweb and earlier held an analytics role at Intel.

Cohen is also an active board member at IBI Investment House and holds an M.Sc. cum laude in Industrial Engineering from Tel Aviv University, where he specialized in data science, and a B.Sc. summa cum laude in Industrial Engineering and Management from Ben-Gurion University.
“Manifold was built as a research-first company. The lab has to keep pushing on fundamental questions, while the company builds products around the capabilities that emerge from that work. Yehoshua understands both sides. He combines deep experience in AI and data with a proven track record of translating core AI capabilities into products people will actually use,” said Gilad Levy, co-founder and CEO of Manifold.
“I’ve spent much of my career at the intersection of AI, data and product, and I’m convinced that continual learning can create products that improve through interaction, accumulate knowledge and become more valuable over time. Building that product layer is exactly the challenge I wanted to take on,” said Cohen.
