Base44 hits $100 million ARR nine months after Wix acquisition, one year after founding

The no-code platform’s rapid growth highlights Wix’s expansion into business software. Wix also announced a $250 million equity investment led by Durable Capital Partners.

Wix is using its acquisition of Base44 and the rollout of its AI tool, Wix Harmony, to broaden its platform beyond website creation and into business software. Base44, which reached $100 million in annual recurring revenue just nine months after joining Wix, has become a central part of the company’s growth strategy.
According to the company’s Q4 2025 results announced on Wednesday, total revenue reached $524.3 million, up 14% from a year earlier, while bookings rose 15% to $534.5 million. Business solutions revenue, which includes Base44, grew 18% to $153.8 million. Total ARR stood at $1.836 billion, up 14% from the prior year.

Wix’s stock has had a volatile year, falling more than 25% year-to-date and roughly 60% over the past 12 months, though it has rebounded 17% over the last five days amid renewed investor optimism.
Executives said Base44 and Harmony are driving early monetization and cohort growth. “Base44 significantly expands our addressable market to include software applications,” said Avishai Abrahami, Wix’s co-founder and CEO. Harmony, the company’s AI creative tool, is also outperforming early expectations, according to the company.
Wix plans to continue investing heavily in these products while maintaining a focus on profitability. Free cash flow in Q4 2025 was $155.6 million, and the company expects FCF margins in the low- to mid-20% range for 2026. Wix also announced a $250 million equity investment led by Durable Capital Partners and plans to complete the majority of its $2 billion share repurchase program this year.
The company’s CFO, Lior Shemesh, emphasized that these moves are designed to unlock long-term growth. “2026 will be pivotal as we make category-defining innovations and expand leadership across the online ecosystem,” Shemesh said.
Base44’s rapid revenue growth underscores the potential for Wix to extend beyond website creation into the broader low-code business software market. Executives noted that the combination of Base44 and Harmony allows the company to monetize new cohorts while building a more comprehensive platform for online creation.
