Wint raises $36 million Series D to use AI to detect water risks before they become costly damage

The Israeli company’s technology analyzes water use in buildings in real time, helping identify leaks, waste and potential problems before they cause damage. Wint says its platform saved 1.15 billion gallons of water and helped prevent an estimated $100 million in damage in 2025.

Wint has raised $36 million in a Series D round as the Israeli company seeks to expand its use of AI to detect water waste and potential damage in commercial and industrial buildings before leaks turn into costly incidents.
The round was co-led by LIP Ventures and Inven Capital. Wint, which employs around 100 people, including 70 in Israel, said the new capital will be used to accelerate product development and expand its presence in global markets.

The company’s pitch is built around a problem that can be easy to overlook until it becomes expensive: buildings consume, waste and lose enormous amounts of water, while leaks can cause significant damage to properties and disrupt operations. Wint’s platform uses AI algorithms to analyze water data in real time, allowing facilities and risk teams to identify where water is being used, wasted or lost before damage occurs.
Wint serves enterprises, commercial and residential facilities, general contractors and mission-critical facilities. Its customers are seeking to reduce water waste and the cost of water-related damage while improving operational efficiency and their environmental performance.
The latest financing follows a strategic investment from Grosvenor, one of the world's major property owners and developers, announced by Wint in December 2025. Grosvenor said it would expand Wint’s solutions across its global real estate portfolio.
Wint said that in 2025 its technology helped save 1.15 billion gallons of water and prevent an estimated $100 million in water damage across more than 1,300 incidents. The company also said its platform helped avoid more than 39,000 metric tons of carbon emissions during the year.
The company has been expanding beyond leak detection and water monitoring. It has launched AI-based Water Insights as well as AI-driven analysis of water temperature and boiler health, designed to identify boiler problems and energy waste.
“Water risk is one of the most underestimated threats to the built environment,” CEO Alon Geva said in announcing the funding. He said the new capital would allow Wint to expand its reach while continuing to develop its technology.
