“In the next five years or so CPUs will shine”
Neologic Co-Founder and CEO Dr. Avi Messica explains why AI inference makes server CPUs the market's next hardware priority.

"Probably in the next five years or so, CPUs will shine," predicted Dr. Avi Messica, the Co-Founder and CEO of semiconductor company Neologic. He elaborated that "the past five years were, let's say, a ‘GPU time’ because people were training models and now we are getting into the inference phase."
Messica recalled that when Neologic first launched, "everybody was running for AI accelerators trying to compete with Nvidia." The founders instead chose to build server CPUs that complement the tech giant, a decision that initially cost them with investors but is now paying off.
