Sheba Impact is working "to transition Sheba to be the AI implemented leading hospital in the world," said Sheba Impact CEO and ARC Director Avner Halperin. Halperin spoke to CTech’s Amy Shapiro at the Tech1 Gala and Awards night, where he received the Strategic Move of the Year award.
The award follows the recent sale of ARC Innovation from Sheba Medical Center to the American healthcare company Redesign Health. ARC is a global platform that connects healthcare systems and industry.
Halperin noted that Sheba is "the first hospital outside the US that gets the latest capabilities of OpenAI," stating that their commitment for 2027 is to ensure "you'll see AI implemented across all the wards of Sheba," which he emphasized will drive more accurate, effective, and efficient treatment.
