Prisma Photonics raises $30 million to expand AI-based infrastructure monitoring

The Tel Aviv deep-tech firm turns ordinary fiber networks into global security and power-grid sentinels.

Prisma Photonics, a Tel Aviv-based deep-tech company that uses artificial intelligence to transform existing optical fiber into vast real-time sensor networks, has raised $30 million in a growth round. The financing brings the company’s total funding to $80 million.
The round was led by Protego Ventures, with participation from Adara Ventures, the investment arm of a leading Latin American transmission operator, and continued support from Insight Partners, Chione Switzerland, and SE Ventures, Schneider Electric’s venture arm.

Prisma Photonics’ Hyper-Scan Fiber-Sensing platform is already deployed across thousands of kilometers of critical infrastructure, including 15 major transmission system operators in the U.S. and Europe. By turning ordinary optical fiber into a continuous, high-resolution monitoring system, the platform detects, classifies, and locates events - from intrusions to grid congestion and wildfire threats - with meter-level accuracy.
As Prisma Photonics expands in the U.S. and Europe, the new capital will also fuel its entry into Latin America.
“Our AI capabilities allow us to translate raw optical fiber signals into actionable intelligence in real time,” said Dr. Eran Inbar, Prisma Photonics’ CEO. “That means our technology can protect a military installation one day and optimize renewable energy integration the next. This funding accelerates our mission to make the world’s infrastructure safer, smarter, and more resilient.”
