Operation Israel reaches $10 million milestone in aid for IDF
The nonprofit has delivered over 95,000 items to 33,000 Israeli soldiers since its founding after the Oct. 7 attacks.
American-based volunteer nonprofit Operation Israel has reported that it has raised more than $10.3 million and delivered over 95,000 items to 33,000 Israeli soldiers since its founding after the Oct. 7 attacks. The organization, staffed entirely by volunteers, focuses on supplying tactical gear, medical equipment, and battlefield technologies directly to troops. It was established to respond more quickly to frontline needs than what traditional systems can offer.
"This milestone reflects the power of grassroots action and the unwavering commitment of our supporters," said Dr. Adi Vaxman, President and Co-founder of Operation Israel. "Every dollar raised and every item delivered is a direct response to what our soldiers actually need in real time. We are not just sending gear—we are sending a message that they are not alone."

Operation Israel’s initiatives include The Centipede Initiative, which funds the use of compact, remote-operated robots designed to detect explosives, provide thermal and visual imaging, and deliver payloads. The systems are currently being tested in tunnel and building operations.
The group also supports IDF drone training programs across counterterrorism, Southern Command, and Northern Command units. Thousands of soldiers have been trained using donor-supplied drones, simulators, and related tools. Additional funding has gone to counter-IED training programs now operating in more than 10 IDF training bases.
During this year’s Iran-Israel conflict, Operation Israel provided emergency equipment to first-response units and worked with the Israeli Cities Network to supply radios, flashlights, and other gear to local defense squads. The organization has also begun limited civil defense efforts, including providing mats, ramps, and other items to improve shelters.
