Bomb threat prompts evacuation of Delta flight at Ben Gurion Airport

Passengers were evacuated after the aircraft landed in Israel and was moved to an isolated area. No bomb was detected after the plane was scanned.

An anonymous bomb threat involving a Delta Air Lines flight was received Tuesday morning, prompting authorities to evacuate all passengers after the aircraft landed at Ben Gurion Airport. Passengers were quickly disembarked, and the plane was moved to an isolated area.
No bomb was detected after the plane was scanned. The aircraft had landed in Israel shortly before the threat prompted the emergency response. Security forces and airport security personnel are searching the plane and the surrounding area. Preliminary assessments suggest the threat may be a hoax. However, in light of recent events, including an attempted hijacking involving a Flydubai flight, authorities decided to declare an emergency and conduct a thorough search of the aircraft.
